Post-Qualification Professional Supervision

The BPS states that post-qualification supervision is strongly recommended as an essential part of good practice with an ethical and professional expectation that practitioners post-qualification undertake regular professional supervision (BPS, 2017).

I have over 20 years of experience working within elite sports environments and over 15 years of experience providing supervision and mentoring to post-qualification practitioner psychologists.

Post-qualification professional supervision will provide you with:

  • Enhanced Professional Development – Supervision will provide you with a structured space for reflective practice, and ongoing learning, ensuring you continue to grow professionally.
  • Improved Client Outcomes – Discussing cases with myself will enhance your decision-making, interventions, and ethical considerations, ultimately benefiting your clients.
  • Emotional Support & Well-being—Working in high-pressure environments can be emotionally taxing; this supervision offers a safe space to process challenges, prevent burnout, and maintain resilience.
  • Ethical & Legal Guidance – This supervision will support you in navigating complex ethical dilemmas, ensuring compliance with professional standards and safeguarding clients and themselves.
